NGO praises Govt of India at UNHRC for women empowerment, gender equality, human rights

At the 54th UN Human Rights Council session in Geneva, the Indian NGO Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS) highlighted the Government of India's acknowledgment of development, human rights, and its commitment to gender equality. During his address, Hansraj Singh of RSKS emphasized India's recognition of the connection between human rights and development. He pointed to initiatives such as the National Human Rights Commission and various social welfare programs as evidence of India's determination to protect the rights and dignity of its citizens, underscoring the country's dedication to the principles of human rights through its commitment to gender equality.
