NEET-UG 2026 Cancelled After Leak Verified; NTA Promises Fair Re-Exam For Students | Watch

NTA Director General Abhishek Singh confirmed that NEET-UG 2026 was cancelled after investigators verified that leaked questions circulating on WhatsApp before the exam matched the actual paper. Acting on a whistleblower tip received on May 7, authorities found PDFs containing matching questions were already available on phones before the May 3 exam. Calling it a violation of NTA’s zero-tolerance policy, Singh said the matter has been handed over to the CBI. A re-exam will be conducted fairly, with no extra fee and full refunds for students.
