MP Pragya Thakur gave her statement in the Parliament today after her comments calling Nathuram Godse a ‘deshbhakt’ caused an uproar the past few days. Sadhvi Pragya claimed that her remarks were being misconstrued and distorted. She stated that she respected Mahatma Gandhi’s contributions to the nations and gave a conditional apology. She also attacked Rahul Gandhi for calling her a terrorist and said he had insulted her as a woman.
