Migrants’ fare row: Most states paying for special trains

Amid controversy over the railways charging train fare from stranded migrants, government sources clarified that most of the states are paying for their travel. As per sources, the government has listed the payment mode as per which most of the states are paying for operations of the special Shramik Special trains to ferry stranded migrants.
