“Message of unity in diversity given…” Jewish Rabbi who participated in multi-faith prayers at Parliament inauguration

A multi-faith prayer ceremony was carried out on May 28 at the new Parliament building’s premises. Religious leaders from different faiths participated in the ceremony. Jewish Rabbi Ezekiel Isaac Malekar, who participated in the prayers, said, "Today, we have given the message of unity in diversity, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. We have to respect the constitution of India. India is our motherland and we should not forget it. Though we are religious leaders, but first of all, we are Indians."
