Uttar Pradesh Police has been making effort and have been working on the preparations ahead of the upcoming Kawar Yatra. “Adequate preparations have been made in view of the Kanwar Yatra. Barricading has been done everywhere. Medical camps have also been organized at various places. Will also be monitored by CCTV,” said District Magistrate Deepak Meena. “District Meerut is divided into 22 zones and 62 sectors. Camps are also being established at different places. Police officers are on duty. Route diversion of heavy vehicles will be done. More than 1000 policemen will be deployed for Kawar Yatra…” said SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan.
