Manipur violence: House of state's only woman minister burnt down

The government accommodation of of Manipur Cabinet minister Nemcha Kipgen, who is a Kuki and had demanded a separate administration for the Kukis, has been burnt down by unknown miscreants. Despite efforts by the Centre as well as the state government, the violence between the Meiteis and Kukis has refused to die down.
