Manipur Video: Jaya Bachchan says 'I am ashamed, couldn't watch the entire clip'

Jaya Bachchan, actor-turned-Rajya Sabha member, expressed her response to the Manipur incident while briefly interacting with the media. She referred to it as a shameful act after a video, showing the distressing scene of two tribal women being paraded naked and molested by a group of men in Manipur. Jaya Bachchan said, 'I felt so bad, I couldn’t see the entire video. I was ashamed. Nobody cares. Women are being treated so badly. Its very frustrating. Everyday something or the other is happening with women. It’s very saddening.' JP MP Hema Malini says Discussion should happen and it will definitely happen. While Navneet Kaur Rana says If opposition is so worried about the women, then why did they viral it by keeping their own men. Opposition has nothing against the government, they make noise in the house for the women’s agenda. They don’t want to discuss they just want to create ruckus.
