Mamata Banerjee-Designed Football Sculpture Removed From Salt Lake Stadium Amid Controversy

The West Bengal government has removed the controversial football-themed sculpture installed outside Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata — a structure designed during Mamata Banerjee’s tenure and unveiled ahead of the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2017.
