Madhya Pradesh: Tourists stranded mid-air in Satna after ropeway came to a sudden halt

A month after Deoghar ropeway incident, a similar incident was reported from Maihar in Madhya Pradesh's Satna district. Several devotees, who came to visit the famous Maa Sharda Devi temple in Maihar, remained trapped in cable cars midair for about half an hour when a strong dust storm hit the city. A video of the incident shows several devotees being trapped in cable cars that dangled midair after strong winds accompanied by light rain hit Satna's Maihar town. Reportedly, the cable car services continued despite bad weather forecast.
