The India-Brazil Business Forum 2026 in New Delhi spotlighted a renewed push to strengthen economic ties between the two nations, with Union Minister Piyush Goyal highlighting a “golden era” in bilateral relations. Held during the state visit of Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, the forum underscored a shared commitment to raise trade beyond $20 billion in the next five years. Goyal pointed to key reforms in taxation, logistics, and digital infrastructure that are driving growth and easing business operations. He also emphasised expanding cooperation across sectors including AI, energy, defence, healthcare, and technology, positioning India and Brazil as natural partners in global economic growth.
