Hundreds of highly skilled South Asian migrants protested outside the Houses of Parliament in London on 2nd May, against what they described as hostile immigration policies of the UK government. The immigrants are unhappy about long delays in having applications for indefinite leave to remain (ILR) processed and also having their ILR applications refused under section 322 (5) for making small errors on their tax returns.
