‘Left BJP because…’ Chhattisgarh Tribal leader Nand Kumar Sai briefs reason for quitting party

Opening up on him quitting the BJP, Tribal leader Nand Kumar Sai on May 02 in Chhattisgarh’s Raipur said that no prominent leader gave him the time to hold a meeting with him pertaining the party issues. Sai recently left the BJP and joined the Congress party. “I tried a lot to meet the prominent leaders to discuss party-related issues. I tried a lot. I was hurt because of this. However, I understood that they were busy. But when eventually they did not meet at all, I thought that it will be better to leave the party,” Sai said.
