On being asked about the incident of a petrol bomb thrown at Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi's residence on October 25, Union Minister L Murugan termed it a total failure of the DMK government.He said, "Law and order have broken down because we are seeing that the constitutional head of the state, Governor's Raj Bhawan has been attacked by some gundas by throwing a petrol bomb. This incident seems as if the first citizen of the state does not have any safety and he is not allowed to perform his duty safely... The Chief Minister is trolling himself, he is having the police department... What I am demanding is who is behind this... The government has to do a fair investigation... I think the DMK is behind him... How will the DMK keep the common people safe?... The case should be taken to CBI or the NIA..."
