Kumbh Mela: 1,701 people test Covid-19 positive between April 10-14

More than 1,700 people tested positive for coronavirus in the Kumbh Mela area in Uttarakhand’s Haridwar from April 10 to 14, a report said on Thursday. At a time when the Centre and state governments are coming up with measures to tackle the new wave of COVID-19 pandemic, Kumbh Mela, which is said to be one of the world's largest religious gatherings, may add to the number of coronavirus cases.
