The Congress party has appointed Kumari Selja as the new Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) chief on Wednesday. Her name emerged as a compromise candidate after a feud had taken place between Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Ashok Tanwar. Selja was a former union minister and a member of Congress Working Committee. while talking to ANI, Selja said, " It is a huge responsibility on my shoulders, all of us will have to work together. We are committed to the party's ideology."
