Kerala: Custom recovers 1.005 kgs of gold worth Rs 48 lakhs at Cochin International Airport

The Customs department confiscated 1.005 kilogrammes of gold worth Rs 48 lakhs at Cochin International Airport on July 23. Officials took action after receiving a tip and recovered the gold. The relevant authorities have launched an inquiry into where and to whom it was being conveyed. More information is awaited.
