Karnataka: Work begins to restore Tipu Sultan's armoury
After years of efforts, Tipu Sultan's armoury is being restored in Kalasipalya. The armoury is believed to be around 230 years old. The state archaeology department has begun the restoration work. The armoury is 15 feet wide and 22 feet deep. It was used to keep ammunition. The Rs 35 lakh project is expected to be completed in two months.
