Karnataka: Security beefed up outside Kanteerava stadium in Bengaluru ahead of swearing-in ceremony

Heavy police force has been deployed outside Kanteerava stadium ahead of the swearing-in ceremony of the Karnataka Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister on May 20. Governor of Karnataka Thaarwarchand Gehlot will oversee the swearing-in ceremony. Siddaramaiah will take the oath as the next Chief Minister of Karnataka whereas DK Shivakumar will be sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister. The venue is the same place where Siddaramaiah took oath as the Chief Minister of Karnataka in 2013 for the first time. Congress recorded a landslide victory in the Karnataka Assembly Polls where it won 134 out of 224 Seats.
