Kanpur: 3 held for printing fake notes after watching YouTube videos

A PhD degree-holder, a BTech (textile engineering) and their aide who learnt how to print fake notes by watching YouTube videos were arrested by the City police Tuesday. The police said fake currency worth Rs 459,050 was recovered from them. The arrested persons were identified as Kunwar Anuj (33), Saurabh Singh (40), natives of Sirsaganj area of Firozabad and Vimal Singh (40) of Gujaini area of the city (Kanpur). “Kunwar Anuj is a BTech (textile) graduate, while Saurabh is a PhD holder and Vimal is a graduate,” informed joint commissioner of police (JCP) Anand Prakash Tiwari.
