JDU President Lalan Singh alleges Centre’s role in Rahul Gandhi’s conviction

National President of Janata Dal (United) Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan) Singh alleged that BJP-led Central government is involved in the “hasty” verdict that was given in the defamation case of Rahul Gandhi. “The way a haste decision came in Rahul Gandhi’s case reflects the uneasiness Central govt is feeling. This is a democracy, there are procedures. Within 10 hours all procedures were complete. Central government played a role in this. The same is happening with Tejashwi Yadav,” alleged Lalan Singh on March 25.
