'It Was Abhishek Banerjee': BJP Blames TMC Leaders After Suvendu Adhikari’s Close Aide Shot Dead

BJP leader Arjun Singh accused Abhishek Banerjee of orchestrating the murder of Chandranath Rath, a close aide of Suvendu Adhikari, who was shot dead in Madhyamgram. BJP termed the killing a politically motivated attack aimed at intimidating opposition workers amid Bengal’s tense post-election atmosphere. Police suspect Rath’s vehicle was intercepted before motorcycle-borne assailants opened fire. No response has yet come from the TMC or Abhishek Banerjee regarding the allegations.
