“It looks like there is 'jungle raj' in UP,” says Mehbooba Mufti on Atiq Ahmed’s shootout

Speaking on the murder of gangster-politician Atiq Ahmad, Peoples Democratic Party Chief Mehbooba Mufti on April 17 said that the way Atiq Ahmad was murdered in police custody, it looks like a jungle raj in Uttar Pradesh. “We know that Atiq Ahmed was not a good person but the manner in which he was murdered in police custody makes it look like there is a 'jungle raj' in UP,” said PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti.
