BJP leader JPS Rathore on March 01 talked about the UP Government’s strict policy against the mafias. Shortly after the bulldozer action on Atique Ahmed’s close relative Khalid Zafar in Umesh Pal murder case, he said, “UP Government is not going to hesitate in taking strictest action against the “Mafias”. We have given complete freedom to the UP police to punish them. We are going to find them out from wherever they hide. Even if they hide underground, we will find them out and punish them.”He also openly warned the mafias by saying, “I would like to warn them that when they’re caught, they must not squirm, else the vehicle might overturn. By this I mean, we know how to handle them. Therefore, they must abide by the law. We will hang them till death only by the legal ways.”
