India, US, Japan and Australia meet: Stoking 'confrontation', says China

The fourth Quad Foreign Ministers Meet was held in Melbourne on February 11. The member states of the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue repeated their call for a free and open Indo-Pacific. They also reviewed the progress made since the last QUAD Summit in September last year. The Covid-19 pandemic was also discussed. The four QUAD nations share a commitment to openness and transparency in the current global order. The grouping is intended to counter challenges across the Indo-Pacific region.
