India, Nepal To Take Bilateral Ties To New Heights; Jaishankar Calls For Decisive Shift In Relations
India and Nepal have pledged to take their bilateral relationship to new heights following extensive talks between S Jaishankar and Nepal's Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal in New Delhi. The discussions covered trade, connectivity, energy, security, digital cooperation and development partnerships. Nepal described India as its "most important partner" while both sides launched new initiatives including a cross-border digital payments linkage and expanded cooperation in emerging technologies.
