India, Australia to hold 1st land combat exercise in October

Iran’s ambassador to South Korea issued a stark warning over the possibility of a US ground invasion. Speaking at the Iranian Embassy in Seoul, Saeed Koozechi warned that “many coffins would return to the U.S.” if American troops set foot on Iranian soil. The diplomat accused Washington and Israel of launching illegal aggression against Iran and defended Tehran’s strikes on Gulf states hosting US military bases. Koozechi said Iran is exercising its right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter and insisted diplomacy had been ongoing before the attacks.
