Income Tax Department’s ‘survey’ at BBC offices ends after 3 days

After three days, the income tax department said its survey at the Mumbai and Delhi offices of the British Broadcasting Corporation ended. The I-T officials left the offices of the BBC after about 60 hours. Income-Tax officials say the survey was to investigate transfer pricing violations by the organisation. On the other hand, critics suspect that the ‘survey’ was a fallout of the controversial documentary aired by the UK-based media firm on PM Modi.
