Expressing anger over recent killing of women in Imphal, Locals set ablaze Police Station in Old Pallel area of Imphal on December 23. The locals set aflame Police Station after a woman was allegedly shot dead by a wireless set operator who was posted there. Police fired tear gas shells to disperse the crowd. Later, the situation was brought under control.
