I-T raids under way at premises linked to Tamil Nadu minister Senthil Balaji

The income tax department is carrying out raids at around 40 locations across Tamil Nadu linked to state electricity minister V Senthil Balaji. Balaji is a senior DMK leader from Karur. According to sources, the raids are being conducted at residences and offices of various government contractors who have alleged links with Balaji.
