Day after being announced as Congress CM face ahead of Punjab Assembly Elections 2022, Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Monday offered prayers at Naina Devi temple in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. Charanjit Singh Channi’s visit to Naina Devi temple comes a day after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi announced Channi as the CM face ahead of Punjab elections. On being announced as CM face, he said, “I sincerely thank the Congress High Command and people of Punjab for bestowing their trust in me. As you have seen us work so hard in the last 111 days to take Punjab forward, I assure you to take Punjab and Punjabis on the path of progress with new zeal and dedication.”
