The Bihar Election Commission has written to Congress MP and Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi, asking him to submit details of voters he alleged were removed during the recent Special Intensive Revision (SIR). The notice follows a video posted by Gandhi earlier in the day, where he highlighted supposed cases of voter deletions. The state’s Chief Electoral Officer urged him to share EPIC numbers and other relevant details in the prescribed format for further inquiry. This development comes at a time when Gandhi has intensified his attacks on the Election Commission, accusing it of aiding “vote theft” and undermining democratic processes.
