General NS Raja Subramani Assumes Charge As India's New Chief Of Defence Staff

General NS Raja Subramani has formally assumed charge as India's new Chief of Defence Staff, succeeding General Anil Chauhan. In his first statement after taking office, he highlighted military transformation, tri-services integration, theatreisation and indigenous defence capabilities as key priorities. The new CDS is expected to steer major reforms aimed at strengthening India's future warfighting capabilities and national security framework.
