He noted that since 2014, India has moved from chronic power shortages to running one of the world’s largest grids, capable of absorbing sudden demand spikes. Solar capacity has grown 46 times, wind power has doubled, and nuclear energy is set for expansion through the SHANTI Bill. These reforms ensure 24x7 reliable power for households, industry and energy-hungry data centres. Reduced coal imports, efficient supply chains and controlled tariffs further strengthen India’s edge. As the digital economy expands, India’s power stability could become its biggest competitive advantage.
