For taking on commercial spots in residential areas, BBMP official gets 'death threat'

The ongoing drive by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to shut down illegal commercial activities in residential areas has taken a new turn with a senior official of the civic body receiving a death threat. Sarfaraz Khan, BBMP joint commissioner for health and solid waste management, received a letter, possibly from miscreants supporting those running unauthorized businesses in residential areas.
