Financial inclusion is critical for achieving economic empowerment of women, says Union minister Anurag Thakur

Union minister Anurag Thakur on Friday said that financial inclusion is critical for achieving economic empowerment of women. "It is the target of 5th sustainable goal under gender equality" he added. He further said that women must be a larger part of the labour force of the country. As on now, about 49 start-ups have a woman director at its helm.
