Expect China to ensure expeditious restoration of peace in border areas: MEA

The ministry of external affairs on Thursday said,"We expect the Chinese side to sincerely follow up and ensure expeditious restoration of peace and tranquility in border areas as per bilateral agreements and protocols." while speaking on banning Chinese apps, he said, "While operating in India one has to abide by our rules & regulations issued by relevant ministries & departments, including those pertaining to data security & privacy of individual data." India has banned 59 Chinese apps including TikTok and UC Browser.
