Excise duty cut in oil to impact India’s fiscal deficit: Moody's

Rating agency Moody's has warned that India’s fiscal deficit will take a hit due to cut in excise duty on petrol and diesel. According to data, every rupee cut in excise duty will result in a revenue loss of about rs 13,000 crore.
