Bharatiya Janata Party leader Dinesh Sharma on September 21 spoke on the Women’s Reservation Bill. He urged all the parties to support the bill forgetting all differences and said that this Bill would ensure women’s empowerment. “...This is expected from all, for the ones who have 50 per cent population, women, if we give them one-third reservation, this effort by PM Narendra Modi and BJP government is for women empowerment. They (UPA) knowingly passed it in Lok Sabha but didn't pass it in Rajya Sabha and said that our alliance partners are not agreeing...This is the dual policy of Congress,” said Dinesh Sharma.
