EAM Jaishankar Highlights Israel’s Support In Wars, Calls It Vital For Defence Technology

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar reiterated India’s balanced foreign policy, highlighting strong ties with Israel as a key defence and technology partner that has supported India during past conflicts. At the same time, he emphasized that relations with Iran remain cordial, citing Tehran’s decision to allow four Indian ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz amid ongoing tensions. The remarks were made during an all-party meeting in response to a question by Supriya Sule on the advantages of India’s ties with the United States and Israel, underscoring India’s multi-aligned diplomatic approach.
