Delimitation Bill Includes Provision For EC To Conduct Exercise In PoK When Conditions Change

The Delimitation Bill provides for the Election Commission to undertake delimitation in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir if the areas cease to be occupied. The clause builds on the existing framework reserving 24 assembly seats for these regions, without any immediate change on the ground.
