Delhi Police arrested an accused Amanat Ali for attempting murder of a schoolgirl. The accused had allegedly tried to kill the teenage girl with help of his two other friends. In this regard, Tigri police station registered a case. During the investigation, the police team analysed the CCTV footage and identified all three accused. After that, the police team received a tip-off regarding the absconding accused. Acting on the secret information, the police team laid a trap in Trilokpuri and arrested the accused. During the sustained interrogation, the accused disclosed his involvement in this case. Earlier, the police team apprehended the other two accused from Sangam Vihar area. The Police recovered two country-made pistols, three live cartridges and one fired empty cartridge from their possession.
