Cyclone Yaas batters east coast, large scale evacuation saves the day

Cyclone Yaas made landfall around 9am on May 26 north of Dhamra in Odisha's Bhadrak district. Coastal areas of Odisha and West Bengal experienced wind speed of up to 130-140kmph due to the cyclone. Hundreds of trees were uprooted in different parts of Odisha and West Bengal.
