Covid-19: Covovax gets nod from drug regulator’s panel for emergency use in 12-17 yrs age group

Serum Institute of India's Covovax gets nod from the drug regulator's expert committee on Covid vaccines has recommended emergency use authorisation (EUA) in the age group of 12-17 years. However, it is yet to get final approval from Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI). Once approved by the regulator, Covovax will become the fourth vaccine approved for adolescents of 12-17 years age.
