Controversy erupts on JNU's Ramayana webinar, NSUI raises objection

The NSUI's JNU unit has raised objection to the decision of university administration to conduct a webinar on Ramayana. The NSUI has dubbed it as a propaganda by the government and the vice chancellor. This has become a new flash point between various bodies of students and university administration. Mukesh Kumar, vice-president said, " The university administration should discuss topics like Covid-19 and its ways of prevention but the administration has chosen to conduct a webinar on Ramayana. The university has become a centre of propaganda."
