West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has announced a series of welfare and governance measures, including ₹5 fish-rice meals at 400 canteens, ₹3,000 monthly financial aid for eligible women under the Annapurna Yojana, and restrictions on liquor shops near schools, colleges and temples. The Chief Minister also spoke about district-level administrative coordination meetings and his government’s governance vision based on “rule of law.”
