The SIT probing the murder of Suvendu Adhikari’s aide Chandranath Rath has arrested three accused, including one from Ayodhya, and expanded the investigation across multiple states. Investigators suspect hired shooters from outside West Bengal carried out the attack. Police are analysing CCTV footage, financial transactions and communication records while probing possible interstate criminal links behind the killing.
