Cauvery issue: Jayalalithaa demands monitoring mechanisms

Reiterating her demand for the constitution of the Cauvery Management Board and Cauvery Water Regulation Committee, Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa said it was absolutely necessary that the monitoring mechanisms are put in place to ensure Karanataka releases water as per the final award of the Cauvery Tribunal.
