BJP’s Gaurav Bhatia fumes at Congress’ Randeep Surjewala over his ‘Rakshasa’ remark

ANI / Aug 14, 2023, 21.56 PM IST

Bhartiya Janata Party’s spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia slammed Congress MP Randeep Surjewala over his recent ‘Rakshasa’ remark in Haryana’s Kaithal. He took aim at Congress MP and said that 'Ghamandia' is now insulting the people in India. BJP spokesperson said, “This shows how 'Ghamandia' is now insulting the public in India. This shows that the mindset of "raakshas" tendency in India resides within 'Ghamandia'. It is to be understood that these things happen only under the directions of Rahul Gandhi.”He further added, “A few days back, Rahul Gandhi said on the floor of the House, "Bharat Mata ki hatya ho gayi hai”. I would like to humbly say that the people should be respected irrespective of the party they vote for. It is their right as per the Constitution.” He also added that, “In West Bengal, if someone supports BJP they end up losing their lives and now the Congress Party has termed our voters and supporters Raakshash.” He concluded, “Elections are approaching. People will teach them such a lesson that they will understand that in India's strong democracy, people are like God and those who keep a "raakshasi" mindset have no right to be in politics in India."
