Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on January 22 attacked Bharatiya Janata Party over violence due to religious conversion in the state. CM Baghel claimed that BJP leaders are behind bars as they were involved in hooliganism. “Most churches were built under Bharatiya Janata Party’s tenure. We took action against complaints of conversion. 16 complaints were made and we probed. 8 were found true while 8 cases were false. Bharatiya Janata Party leaders are behind bars because they are involved in hooliganism in the name of religious conversion,” CM Baghel said.
